AASHTO Freight Achievements

2005 Freight Transportation Achievers

Tom Norton, Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Transportation, and Chair of AASHTO’s Special Committee on Intermodal Transportation and Economic Expansion, asked the CEO's of the State DOT's to submit freight projects in order to acknowledge successful initiatives, spotlight provide best practices cases, and focus more attention on the importance of freight transportation.

Twenty one states submitted descriptions of their projects.
