RAILROAD DAY ON CAPITOL HILL

General Information
This year, Railroad Day is Thursday, March 13, 2008. This is the day when representatives from rail-related organizations join forces to maximize our lobbying efforts. Your presence will increase our exposure on Capitol Hill and confirm that the railroad industry's voice is heard in Washington. ASLRRA's Annual Legislative Reception and Dinner will be held the evening of the 13th, and it continues to be an annual highlight in the rail community. Federal and State Government agency representatives and members of the press, convene at this annual event. Once again, Railroad Day has been timed to take place the same week as AASHTO's Standing Committee on Rail Transportation Meeting and we hope that all of the state DOT representatives will be present for Railroad Day and the Dinner. Traditionally, we are joined by Congressional leaders and their staff at the Dinner.
